About Ballroom Dancing:
"Ballroom" dances are smooth and fluid, moving across the floor with speed and grace. Under the Ballroom or "Modern" or "Standard" umbrella are: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, and Viennese Waltz
The "Latin American" style is full of hip movements and attitude. Latin dances include: Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Jive, and Paso Doblé
Beginner Ballroom & Latin (Level 1)
Mondays 6.30pm-7.30pm
New Course starts November 11th
with Foxtrot & Jive
Beginner level is for people who would like to try ballroom dancing for the first time. These classes are designed to have you moving around the floor easily within the first few weeks of the class. The classes will introduce you to basic dancing that you can use at parties, balls or take into other social classes. A great way to exercise and learn something new! You do not need to have a partner to attend this class.
In a 4 week course, you will focus on one dance from the Modern style, and one from the Latin American style. 4 weeks is an ideal time frame to feel comfortable with the steps and learn at a relaxed pace.

Beginner Ballroom & Latin (Level 2)
Tuesdays 6.30-7.30pm
New Course Starts November 12th
with Foxtrot & Jive
Beginner Level 2 is for people who would like to try ballroom dancing for the first time but have done other dancing before, or for those who have completed a Beginner Level 1 class. A great stepping stone between the Beginner and Intermediate classes!

Intermediate Ballroom & Latin (Level 3):
Mondays 7.30pm-8.30pm

This is for students who have mastered our Beginner courses (Level 1 and 2) and would like to learn some more new steps in the Modern and Latin American styles. It is more of a challenge, but lots of fun! Like the Beginner Class, you will focus on two dances for a 4 week course.

This class is perfect for students who have progressed through all the levels of our Ballroom & Latin classes and are looking to deepen their understanding of the principles of the Ballroom style. Perfect your technique and develop styling!
This class is perfect for students who have progressed through all the levels of our Ballroom & Latin classes and are looking to deepen their understanding of the principles of the Latin style.
